Practice Yoga with Sarah Finger
Sarah co-founded ISHTA Yoga, LLC with her husband, Alan Finger, in May 2008. As the Teacher Training Director, Sarah helped to develop one of the most renowned Teacher Training programs in New York City. She was also instrumental in the creation of ISHTA Europe, which currently holds trainings in the UK, Sweden, and Germany. In January, 2012, just 3 months after her daughter was born, Sarah became the Managing Director of ISHTA Yoga’s two locations. In June, 2013 ISHTA was ranked one of the top 7 yoga studios in Manhattan by Citysearch. Sarah holds the title Yogiraj and has developed her own signature class, “Sweat and Samadhi,” which has been featured in Well and Good, Yoga U Online and Origin magazine and is taught by ISHTA teachers worldwide.
Sarah’s classes offer a blend of alignment-based flow, breath awareness, kriya techniques and Tantric meditation that enable her students to tap in to the essence of their true nature. She is a brand ambassador for Lululemon and on the Board of Directors for Exhale to Inhale, a non-profit organization that teaches yoga to survivors of domestic violence. Sarah offers the ISHTA teachings with renowned leaders in the industry, including Deepak Chopra. She travels the world with her husband, Alan, teaching and sharing what she feels is a truly powerful, transformational, and integrated practice with others. Her daughter Satya inspires her every day to live a life based on unconditional love and unbound potential.
